While social platforms might be crawling with mental health care awareness content, content on running a therapy practice is incredibly niche. So we partnered with content creators to help bring some candor and humor to understandably tense conversations around AI in therapy — notably distinguishing AI therapists from AI tools for therapists. For me, this meant issuing monthly briefs, brainstorming the post concept with our creators, as well as editing caption copy and video assets.

The Golden Thread Digital Magazine

Bringing together 600+ SEO articles with in-depth features, I served as editor-in-chief to guide the branding, tone, UI/UX, and content for every months issue — including writing and editing white papers, interviews with clinicians, coordinating guest op-eds, as well as developing issue release emails and social content. Across the first 5 issues, we garnered over 500 subscription opt-ins.

Earned Media Editorial Content

To boost our visibility and credibility in organic and AI search results, we developed monthly general mental health editorial articles for a distribution network to scale the reach of our content to national publications. In our first year, our editorial articles garnered over 3,000 pickups and 350,000 views, which boosted our domain rating by a significant amount.

Reddit Paid Ads

The incredibly frank conversations among therapists (and any other group, let’s be real) are happening on Reddit. While some of that are friendly case consultations, increasingly there is talk around AI therapists as an existential threat to the profession. We dove right into the middle of that discussion with our message and ethos that AI can also support therapists — never replace them.
